Solver

Morgan Evans and Nicolas Cook began playing together in early 1999 at the age of 13 before recruiting Morgans younger brother Tom later that year to complete the line up. They have played at some of Australias finest venues including The Sydney Opera House, Sydney Entertainment Centre, Aussie Stadium and The Sydney Superdome. They have also managed to share such stages with the likes of Evermore, Killing Heidi and The Screaming Jets. They found success at state and local level, winning Youthrock 2002 and being awarded Artist of the Year at the Newcastle/Central Coast music awards in 2004. Under the new name Solver (previously Extortion), the boys independently recorded 4 tracks with acclaimed producer Phil McKellar in early 2004. These tracks are yet to be officially released, but are available on the bands myspace page.
