  • Audio In - Audio In is an organisation formed by young musicians and music lovers of the Central Coast to organise all ages music events. They call on local, interstate and international touring bands of all shapes and styles to unite with them by including an all ages gig as part of their tour. With support from local businesses, venues and people, they hope to arrange regular all ages gigs for Central Coast teenagers.

  • Central Coast Leagues Club Jazz Legue - The Central Coast Jazz League was formed in 1993 as an internal club of Central Coast Leagues CLub to show support for live jazz and to provide a social group for jazz lovers on the Central Coast . Its aims are to promote an appreciation of all jazz music and to foster its development. Membership is open to any current member of Central Coast Leagues CLub.

  • Culture Hunter - Hunter Region Culture Database is an initiative of the NSW Ministry for the Arts and Arts Upper Hunter and co-ordinated through the Octapod Association. Comprehensive arts data collection is being undertaken to measure the region's cultural resources. The database will include artists, cultural organisations, events, funding programs, cultural industries, and facilities used for cultural purposes in the Hunter region. This new searchable, on-line format will provide easy access to data and a great networking tool for the region's artists, arts organisations, community and Government.

  • Hunter Region Band Association - The Hunter Regional Band Association is a Branch of the Band Association of New South Wales. It is a non-profit Association that has both Brass Bands and Concert Band as its members. Most of the Bands are Community Bands, but several School Bands are also members of the Association. The Committee is elected from registered delegates of member bands. There are seventeen member bands in a region from Muswellbrook to Newcastle and Lake Macquarie to Woy Woy.

  • Music Lovers Club - The Music Lovers Club is an organisation where classical music lovers can hear a musical presentations on some aspect of music and meet like minded people.   • Newcastle Festival Opera - Newcastle Festival Opera Co-Operative Ltd was formed in 2006 to provide staged performance opportunities for young Australian singers and instrumentalists as well as production teams and theater technicians. The group promotes emerging young artists in developing their art in a profesionally mentored environment through full-scale opera productions and concert performances. The group was founded by Ghillian Sullivan; principal Operatic Soprano, and Dr Ian Cook; University Lecturer, Conductor and Clarinetist.

  • Newcastle Improvised Music Association - NIMA is a not-for-profit incorporated association that was established in March 2009 to address the lack of performance opportunities for contemporary and new music in Newcastle. NIMA is committed to providing earplay to less commonly accessible music genres in a space where established musicians can experiment with new music styles. The driving goal of NIMA Inc is philanthropic and its aim is to support local musicians so that they can showcase their skills and repertoire.

  • Opera Hunter - Founded in 1984 as the Hunter Opera Co, and now called Opera Hunter Inc. this organisation is a flagship regional company providing high quality critically acclaimed works for regional audiences of the Hunter Valley and surrounding areas. The company's first major production of The Magic Flute in 1988, its standards have developed to such an extent that Hunter musicians, singers, conductors, directors and designers can produce productions without 'imported' personnel. OH does two major productions per year and other afternoon or evening recitals.
  • Performing Arts Newcastle - Performing Arts Newcastle (PAN) is a local community non-profit organisation established in 1997 to assist and nurture artists in the Hunter region.
  • Port Stephens Music Alliance - Port Stephens Music Alliance or P.S.M.A are a group of like minded individuals from the Port Stephens area dedicated to the growth and sustainability of music within the community for future generations. Their main goal is to obtain a consistent and permanent residence to expose the youth and peoples of our community to music from near and far in hopes of sparking an interest and a growth in musical events in the Port Stephens shire.

  • The Loft - In 2000, the City of Newcastle established the Youth Service at the Palais Royale Youth Venue on the West Newcastle site that has accomodated various forms of entertainment since the opening in 1895. In September 2004 Council endorsed the relocation of the Youth Venue to its current site in the Newcastle Mall. The service was re-launched as The Loft Youth Arts and Cultural Centre in April 2006 where it continues to support the development of youth arts as an incubator for young artists, musicians, promoters and performers while providing a safe space for social engagement and recreation.

  • The Newcastle and Hunter Valley Folk Club - The Newcastle and Hunter Valley Folk Club holds meetings on the 1st Saturday of every month. On these nights they have a featured performer plus a support act.

  • Valley Artists - Valley Artists is a non-profit organisation located in the Wollombi Valley, Lower Hunter NSW. They conduct numerous workshops including acting, voice, Commedia delí Arte, street theatre, sound, lighting, make-up and stage management. They also operated the Wollombi Festival (1998-2002). The group also puts on regular productions and runs the Wollombi Valley Short Film Festival.
  • Youth Arts Warehouse - The Youth Arts Warehouse is a space situated on Donnison St Gosford which has been created to support Youth between 12 - 24 in the Arts & Performance areas, creating a safe learning environment looking at supporting Youth & Emerging Artists & Musicians. The Youth Arts Warehouse provides regular gigs, stage & theatre, exhibition space, recording studio, art & photography studio, video production, workshops & seminars.
