  • Animato Music Ensembles - Animato is an accomplished group of conservatorium trained musicians based in Newcastle. They which has been providing music for weddings, dinners, corporate functions and special occasions throughout the Hunter Valley region for many years.
  • Cardiff North Lakes Brass Band - CNL Brass is a community band. It was formed in 1973. It rehearses at Cardiff (a suburb of the City of Lake Macquarie, New South Wales) under the baton of Musical Director Ron Boaden. Its members range in age from fifteen years to eighty years.

  • City of Maitland Pipes and Drums Inc. - The band was established in 1947. They are experienced entertainers, and provide musical entertainment for weddings, funerals, parties and corporate events, as well as street parades. They offer tuition to new learners and are well established for experienced players to join in. Practises are every Friday night from 6-9:30pm at the Maitland City Brass and Pipe Band Hall, located at St Ethel's School, Cross Street South Maitland, NSW, 2320.
  • City of Newcastle RSL Pipe Band - The City of Newcastle RSL Pipe Band was formed in 1924 under the name of The Newcastle Pipe Band Association. In 1929 the Band was renamed the Newcastle City Pipe Band, making it the oldest Pipe Band in Newcastle.

  • Gosford Philharmonia - The aim of the Gosford Philharmonia is a choir that consists of between 60 and 70 members of all ages and abilities. Their performances range from very serious to quite light. The Gosford Philharmonia choir rehearses on Monday nights at the Central Coast Conservatorium at 45 Mann St, Gosford in a very friendly atmosphere. New members are always welcome.

  • Lake Macquarie Concert Band - The City Of Lake Macquarie Concert Band is based at Valentine on the eastern edge of Lake Macquarie in New South Wales. The band was formed in 1977 and aims to bring people of all different ages, backgrounds and musical ability together in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere to make wonderful music and bring that music to our community.

  • Muswellbrook Shire Concert Band - Muswellbrook Shire Concert Band grew out of the ashes of the Muswellbrook Brass Band. The Band was established in 1965 under the baton of Ron Bailey, one of only six accredited Bandmasters in NSW. It was established as a Concert Band, being the first non-military Concert Band in NSW.

  • Newcastle University Choir - An un-auditioned community choir consisting of community members, academics and students of the University of Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia.
  • Novatones - Novatones is a men's harmony chorus based in Newcastle, NSW, Australia. They sing unaccompanied 4-part harmony.
  • Orchestra Nova - Orchestra Nova is Newcastle and the Hunter's community orchestra. It was originally formed in 1991 as the Novocastrian Arts Orchestra. The Orchestra generally performs as a 40 to 50 piece symphony orchestra, but also performs with smaller numbers when appropriate.
  • Port Stephens Community Band - The concert band is a non-profit organisation whose members come from all walks of life and musical ability that provides music for the community. The musical skills of the members range from beginners to professionals. The band aims to promote the enjoyment and fun of learning a musical instrument; offer a forum for all players to learn and practice together as a group; and reach a standard that allows the band to perform confidently for a community organisations and functions when requested.
  • Samba Frog Brazillian Dance and Percussion - Discover the extensive range of Brazilian percussion instruments that make up a "bateria" every Wednesday 7.45pm-9.30pm at PAN (Performing Arts Newcastle).

  • The Australian Celtic Singers - This vibrant group of thirty or so singers perform in four part harmony the traditional songs of the British Isles. Although the group was formed only a year ago, many have been singing together for fifteen years or more.
  • The Celtic Link - Celtic link plays predominantly Irish music and is in great demand at Celtic Festivals and events. This dedicated group consists of up to three violins, two guitars, mandolin, flute, 4 bodhrans and keyboard. Not all are always available each time the band performs, but most find their way to the Centre for their Wednesday evening practice nights.
  • The Firth Collins Jazz Orchestra - The FCJO- The Firth Collins Jazz Orchestra is the Hunter Region of NSW Australia's premiere jazz orchestra. The FCJO has over 200 of the finest big band hits meticulously transcribed by internationally celebrated arranger, Myles Collins.
  • The Marching Koalas - The Marching Koalas were formed in 1982 as a band from the Hunter Region of New South Wales , Australia, representing local high schools. The band consists of musicians, flags, banner and batons and its mascot is Kimmy the Koala who accompanies the band at performances.
  • The United Mineworkers Federation of Australia Pipes and Drums Band - This Hunter Valley based pipe band aims to foster Scottish/Celtic Heritage and Culture and to represent the United Mineworkers Federation. The band has performed at many national and International venues including Ireland Scotland England Wales France and most of Europe. In 1999 and 2001 they travelled to France trip on a commemorative WWII tour.
  • Toronto and Districts Brass Band - Toronto Brass are a B grade band, competing in brass band championships in NSW and elsewhere. The band rehearses at Rathmines, just south of Toronto.

  • University of Newcastle Chamber Choir - The University of Newcastle Chamber Choir was formed in 1995, consisting of students and other members of the community. The Choir has had many successes, including major wins in national competitions, performances in many of the world’s great venues and the release of four compact disc recordings.

  • Wangi Wangi RSL Pipe Band - The Wangi Wangi RSL Pipe Band was formed after Anzac Day 2005 when the club expressed a desire to sponsor and promote the formation and activities of an operational pipe band.
  • Waratah Brass Band - Waratah Brass is one of the leading Brass Bands in Australia. It boasts east coast, state and national level championships. It prides itself on being the only Australian brass band to adopt the true british brass band sound.
