James Morrison Headlining Jazz In The Vines 2004

For the 12th year in a row, Jazz in the Vines will be providing you with a complete indulgence of the senses as the cream of Australian jazz join world class wineries and some of the Hunter’s finest restaurants in showing you an all-round great time!

The artist lineup this year will see James Morrison and ‘The Edge’ band, featuring Simon Stockhausen play one of their only gigs in New South Wales during 2004. Also performing will be Geoff Bull’s Olympia Jazz Band, The NSW Police Band, Carol Ralph, Fish Fry, roving bands, DJ’s and much more. Your tastebuds will be dancing as renowned Hunter Valley Wine Country restaurants join forces to bring you a delicious array of food. Then freshen your palate with a splash or two of the world’s best wines from Tyrrell’s, Drayton’s, Terrace Vale, Tamburlaine and the Hunter Valley Wine Society to complete a seriously mouthwatering afternoon.

Promoter and Event Manager Grant Smith believes that this mix of ingredients is what’s kept over ten thousand people coming back time and again year to Jazz in the Vines. “The relaxed, casual atmosphere of Jazz in the Vines, the fantastic variety of food and wines from all around the Hunter and Jazz to suit all tastes makes this event what it is.”

Bring a blanket, personal sunshade/umbrella and folding chair if desired. Deck chairs are available for hire on the day. No marques or tent type structures are allowed. Come prepared for hot, cool, or wet conditions – the concert will proceed in all but the most extreme weather conditions. Feel to bring a picnic or enjoy tastings from the great restaurants of the Hunter Valley. All the local Hunter restaurants will have stalls on site. Wine, beer, soft drink, water, tea and coffee are available for purchase. No BYO alcahol allowed.
