Mickyfin are in pre-production this week with local film director Jim Lounsbury and Sydney-based cinematographer guru Anthony Jennings for their debut film clip to be shot on 35mm film this weekend the 6th and 7th November. The band will be launching the clip on Saturday 20th November at the Cambridge Hotel along with their EP Pieces in the puzzle which will be released through Tenderhook Records.

The night will see the Cambridge transformed into an alien landscape, University of Newcastle Drama students will perform the Russion play ‘The Night before the trial’. After the premier of Mickyfin’s new film clip, an interactive video will be accompanied by moody soundscapes and warped visuals performed by Joshua Bowyer and members of Mickyfin. The night will be rounded off with a performance by IOTA and the Lizard Men.
