Amnesty International Australia is holding it’s first ever fundraising rock concert at the Civic Theatre Newcastle on 26 November 2004. The aim of the concert is to raise awareness of Amnesty and some of their current campaigns, which include Violence Against Women, refugees and the Asia Pacific Campaign.

Vanessa Amorosi will be headlining the show and will be supported by Melbourne’s Brock Downey and local acts Dymyr and The Healing Art. All monies raised will go towards Amnesty International Australia.

The evening will be hosted by well-known actor/producer/comedian Rhys Muldoon.
