After the success of Bandwidth in 2003, we decided to do it all over again, this time on 7TH MAY at The Bandroom (Newcastle Leagues Club). Last time Bandwith pulled over 250 people, with 18 bands and the whole night was recorded with one song from each bands bands set, released as an downloadable Mp3 @ newcastlebands.com.

This year will have 2 shows UNRESTRICTED (all ages) and RESTRICTED (18+). Once again it will be recorded but this time released on cd with a mutltimedia section containing video footage of the night and interviews with the bands.

Tickets cost $8 for the all ages show, $8 for the Over 18’s show or $10 for both shows. Tickets can only be bought at the door. All proceeds will go towards the production and duplication of the CD/DVD.

Bandwidth is an event designed to promote original music in Newcastle. the whole event is professionally recorded and mixed. With a CD released of the event containing one song from each Band (11 Bands will perform this year) and a multimedia section with will include video footage of the event, the band performances, and interviews with the bands, as well as promo info of the bands.
