Expose Yourself Semi Finals (4/10/05, 5/10/05)

The four bands who will play off at the Civic Theatre in the Expose Yourself Grand Finale will be announced at The Cambridge Hotel on Wednesday October 5. The semi’s will be held over two nights - Tuesday October 4th and Wednesday October 5th. The atmosphere at The Cambridge Hotel will be electric if the past few heats are anything to go by. The competition has been so close that judges have had a really hard time deciding the heat winners. With an impressive prize pool, a chance to perform at the Civic Theatre and a chance to be seen by the national industry pros - bands will be out to impress from the first chord.

Let There be School Rock Semi Final (14/10/05)

Newcastle’s newest underage venue the Genr8r (360 Pacific Highway Belmont) will be hosting the Let There Be School Rock Semi Final on Friday October 14th . Doors open at 6pm for a great night of music. 9 bands will play off for a chance to perform at the Civic Theatre Newcastle in front of the industry reps on October 28. Entry is $2.

Competing in the Semi this year are - Bright Yellow, Dangerfield, For the Moment, Eromona, One Man Down, Nebulas, Renaissance, Good for Nothing and Dying Degree. With the diverse range of styles and immense talent that each band possesses, the semi is sure to attract a huge audience.
