1233 ABC Newcastle is once again letting ex triple J presenter, DJ and music guru - Maynard into the presenter’s chair to bring the talents of local musos, information on artists touring the area, as well as latest music news and gossip to all music lovers in the Hunter.

This unique program, called “The Music Hunter” will air Tuesday nights, 9pm - 10pm from August 1 to October 24 2006.

Catch up with both established and new artists, enjoy words of wisdom and inside knowledge from some of Australia’s top Music Industry types, and check in with local musicians who are currently performing their music overseas. The play list will reflect the diverse categories included in the Music Awards, and a music quiz will test your musical knowledge.
