The Wilderness Society Newcastle is hosting a summer ‘Wilderness Festival’ on the 10th of December to raise awareness and funds for wilderness campaigns.

Showcasing great local bands, campaign and eco-films, speakers, delicious food and eco-market the Wilderness Festival will be a great day for families to gather and learn about local campaigns to preserve our natural heritage.

When: Sunday the 10th of December 2006 2pm - 10pm
Where: At the Lass O’Gowrie Hotel, 14 railway street, Wickham
Cost: $6 admission at the door

There will also be films about forest campaigns in Tasmania and Victoria, and the campaign to preserve our marine wildlife in NSW.
