Boogie on Beaumont
Newcastle Music Week opens with a bang on Friday October 26 with Boogie on Beaumont.
Presented by the Business Hamilton, Beaumont Street will be transformed, as bands on the James St and Clearly St stages pump out some funked up jazz and cool rhythms from local entertainers.
Big sounds from the Warners Bay High Stage Band and the Civic Big Band will get the mood started for a fun family night. Guaranteed lively performances from Rubix Cuba and Fish Fry will see people boogieing as the moon comes up.
The Porkers and The Robbee Williams Live Show will then keep you dancing under the full moon. With music kicking off at 5:30, this event is sure to provide a fantastic family atmosphere. And it’s free!
Restaurants along Beaumont Street will also have acoustic performers playing throughout the night for the pleasure of diners. Street performers and live dance acts will provide plenty of entertainment for the whole family. Make a night of it, eat out and support the local music scene.
