Newcastle Music Week 2007 continues on Saturday October 27^th with Punk ‘n’ Grind in Wheeler Place from 3:00pm to 9:00pm.

The best All Ages gig on the Newcastle music calendar. National and emerging local artists thrash it out with energy and attitude.

Returning in 2007 is Los Capitanes. Heralded by the media as “an explosive freak show”, Los Capitanes’ unique live show has led to national and international supports with Koolism, Gyroscope, The Porkers, The Whitlams and heaps of other cool bands!

Favourites Sleight of Hand also revisit NMW, kicking off with their debut EP, ‘Breathe’, produced by Phil McKellar (Silverchair, Grinspoon).

The Casino Rumblers serve up a cocktail of punk, psychobilly, swing, ska and good ol’ rock and roll.! Waterview (winners of Triple J’s Unearthed competition), A Silent Fiction and Kids of November complete the line-up.

Punk ‘n’ Grind is a FREE All Ages event and is drug and alcohol free.
