Pixie Music Presents …

Pixie MusicCindra and Libby from Pixie Music (Newcastle-based artist relations business) are proud to announce their first ever Pixie Music Presents event at the Lass O’Gowrie on Friday, the 14th of August.

After launching their business officially in March this year, the girls want to make this the start of regular Pixie Music events, held quarterly, to flaunt their own clients and acts they love.

“It’s a way not only to provide gigs for our clients, but to show them off to their local fans, at a fun, no-fuss event”, says Cindra, “We aspire to eventually put on a mini-festival at the Cambo!”

Sketching CatoThe inaugural Pixie Music Presents will be held in association with Beaumont Street Beat (BSB), Newcastle’s only independent music store, at the infamous and well-loved Lass in Wickham, Newcastle. CD’s from Benjalu, Sketching Cato and VAMP will be available to purchase from BSB and there will be special giveaways from the store at the gig.

Benjalu, will kick off the night with tracks from their brand new EP ‘Waterwalls’, followed by Pixie’s friends Opei, a rockin’ 3-piece from the Central Coast.

Headlining the night will be Sketching Cato – Pixie’s first clients – Who last month released their 2nd EP at a massive Pixie-planned launch at the Cambridge Hotel. VAMP, recently signed to Pixie Music Management, will also appear on the night, returning to the home of their first ever gig.

Pixie Music will be releasing their own merchandise on the night, which they hope to expand into more of a fashion brand in the near future.

Come and celebrate Pixie’s five-month anniversary with some fantastic live bands on the 14th August at the Lass! Entry is free, and there will also be merch to buy from the acts on the bill. Doors open 8.30pm, with Benjalu on at 9pm.
