Brackets and Jam Newcastle

Brackets and Jam NewcastleAfter a turn out of over 300 for their August 15th launch, Brackets and Jam will continue bringing you family friendly, multi arts events in Newcastle on the third Saturday of each and every month at the Newcastle Community Art Centre’s Black Box Theatre.

The next event is on September 19th and will again run from 5pm-10pm. Entry for adults is just five dollars with children under 16 free.

An amazing lineup of local talent in September will feature performances from female soloist The Scout, the harsh yet melodic Rum Corps lead by local singer songwriter Kyle Phillipson, percussion group The Drop and the James Buckingham Experience who promise to put you in a happy place.

Remember to bring along your djembe to join in the evening’s massive drum circles. Market stalls will serve up tasty dinners as well as offer locally made produce and hand made bargains.

Brackets and Jam are so proud to be now embracing Newcastle and with so many of the current crop of artists heading for big things, make sure you’re at the Black Box on the 3rd Saturday of every month so you can say you saw them before they were big.
