Tune into 1233 ABC Newcastle across the day as we announce on air and online the Top Five tracks in each genre category. Over these three days, each program will announce which five finalist tracks came in at the top of their genre and are in the running to take out their particular genre category award and/ or a specialist award. If you can’t tune in to the program, access the website/facebook or twitter for regular updates. All Top Five artists will be notified by direct email.

Please note: All tracks entered into the 2009 Awards are in the running for the Broadcasters’ Choice Award. The winners of each of the genre categories will be announced live to air from 9 -11 November. 1233 will not be announcing finalists for each of the following categories: Best Sound Production, 1233 Tour Support Prize, APRA/ABC Music Publishing Songwriter and Composer Recognition Award and ABC Music ‘Artist Of The Year’ – the winners of these categories will be announced at Lizottes on Thursday 12 November.
